- Johann Adam Moser est né le 21 août 1700 à Großulrichshausen, dans la région de Wörnitz, située en Bavière, Allemagne. Il était le fils d'Adam Moser, âgé de 46 ans au moment de sa naissance, et d'Elisabetha Wollinger, qui avait 29 ans.
En 1734, après avoir émigré en Amérique coloniale britannique, il épousa Anna Maria Boehm en Pennsylvanie. De cette union naquirent au moins sept enfants, dont cinq fils et deux filles.
Johann Adam Moser vécut à Hereford Township, dans le comté de Berks, Pennsylvanie, à partir de 1754. Il s'y établit avec sa famille pendant environ deux ans. Par la suite, il déménagea à Hereford, toujours dans la région du même canton.
Il décéda le 10 août 1763 à Orange, en Caroline du Nord, dans ce qui était alors encore une colonie britannique, à l'âge de 62 ans. Sa vie témoigne du parcours de nombreux colons européens qui ont quitté l'Europe pour chercher de nouvelles opportunités en Amérique.

- Johann Adam Moser wurde am 21. August 1700 in Großulrichshausen, in der Region Wörnitz, Bayern, Deutschland, geboren. Er war der Sohn von Adam Moser, der bei seiner Geburt 46 Jahre alt war, und von Elisabetha Wollinger, die 29 Jahre alt war.
Im Jahr 1734, nach seiner Auswanderung in die britischen Kolonien Amerikas, heiratete er Anna Maria Boehm in Pennsylvania. Aus dieser Ehe gingen mindestens sieben Kinder hervor, darunter fünf Söhne und zwei Töchter.
Johann Adam Moser lebte ab 1754 in Hereford Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Dort ließ er sich mit seiner Familie für etwa zwei Jahre nieder. Später zog er nach Hereford, immer noch in derselben Gegend des Kantons.
Er starb am 10. August 1763 in Orange, North Carolina, das damals noch eine britische Kolonie war, im Alter von 62 Jahren. Sein Leben steht stellvertretend für den Weg vieler europäischer Siedler, die Europa verließen, um in Amerika neue Chancen zu suchen.
