Alexander Farnesius, natus die 29 februarii 1468 Canini, electus est 220° papa Ecclesiae Catholicae die 13 octobris 1534, nomine assumpto Paulus III (Latine: Paulus III, Italice: Paolo III). Pontificatum exercuit usque ad mortem, quae Romae accidit die 10 novembris 1549.
