MILLET, MILLIET I.
- Famille d’Orbe, citée dès 1490 ; il en existe des branches à Yverdon dès 1708 et à Chavornay dès 1745.

- Un cachet du XVIIIe siècle, employé par le conseiller d’Etat Milliet, d’Orbe, porte les armes suivante :

- Divers membres de la famille ont employé, au XIXe siècle, des cachets aux armes Briatte, Leresche et Constançon.
MILLIET II.
Le cachet d’un Milliet, de 1783, portant:
" Une croix alaisée, cantonnée aux 1 et 4 de deux fleurs de lis, et aux 2 et 3 de deux étoiles, accompagnée en chef d’une étoile et en pointe d’un mont de trois couteaux ", appartient probablement à un membre d’une famille d’Aigle, citée dès 1644.

" Rot, zu einer Ähre aus geschälter Hirse, der Kopf zum Dexter gelehnt, auf einem Hügel aus drei Scheiben platziert und von drei Sternen (5) begleitet, 2 für den Dexter, einer über dem anderen und 1 für den Kanton bei Unheil der Punkt, ganz aus Golden."

- Familie von Orbe, erwähnt ab 1490; Ab 1708 gibt es Niederlassungen in Yverdon und ab 1745 in Chavornay.
Wappen:
" Rot ein Hirseohr oder sich unheimlich lehnend, sich von einem Berg aus drei Coupeaux Grün bewegend und begleitet von drei Meeräschen Silbern, einer im Dexter Chief und zwei an den Flanken"

- Verschiedene Familienmitglieder verwendeten im 19. Jahrhundert Stempel mit den Wappen von Briatte, Leresche und Constançon.
HIRSE II.
Der Stempel einer Milliet von 1783 mit:
" Ein ruhendes Kreuz, begrenzt auf die 1 und 4 von zwei Lilien und auf die 2 und 3 von zwei Sternen, am Kopf begleitet von einem Stern und an der Spitze von einer Halterung aus drei Messern ", gehört wahrscheinlich zu ein Mitglied einer Familie aus Aigle, zitiert bereits 1644.

Il timbro di un Milliet, del 1783, recante:
" Una croce alesa, confinata all'1 e al 4 di due gigli, e al 2 e al 3 di due stelle, accompagnata in capo da una stella e in punta da un monte di tre coltelli ", appartiene probabilmente a membro di una famiglia di Aigle, citato già nel 1644.

" An alaised cross, confined to the 1 and 4 of two fleur-de-lis, and to the 2 and 3 of two stars, accompanied in chief by a star and at the tip by a mount of three knives ", probably belongs to a member of a family from Aigle, cited as early as 1644.
