Batavia était le nom du siège de la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes orientales en Insulinde de 1619 à 1799 puis de la capitale des Indes néerlandaises de 1799 à 1942.
Son nom actuel est Jakarta, capitale de la République d'Indonésie.
